I love the use of lighting on this one. It makes it look much niftier than an ordinary quarter normally does.

It's totally the reflective nature of these quarters. I have a bright halogen desk lamp, and I justpositioned the camera so the reflection of lamp was where I wanted it, then exposed for that. It made the rest of the quarter (and the background) go dark.
