| Last
Time it appeared at about a 45 degree angle. This one's nearly vertical.
No, it's not Photoshop. It's a bizarre Real Life phenomenon that happens
every now and then in our freezer.
Perhaps it's Mother Nature, bored, trolling for some goofball with a camera. Happy to oblige. |

| it just hit me... vibrations from the compressor make tiny waves from
all sides of the tray. when they meet in the middle it might be that at
that time the temp is just reaching freezing. it would take awhile but
i can sorta see how it would build up over time...hmmm. or maybe not. Posted by [mike]

| Nice try, but your theory is disproven by this first
recorded appearance (it has happened many times, but only caught twice
since I got the digital camera). In the first occurence, the ice stalagmite
started near the end on the cube, not the middle, and rose at a 45 degree
angle.
Next theory, please. Posted by [PhotoDude]
