Kokopelli
I bought this small sculpture for Susan on my last trip to the Southwest. The tag on it reads, "Kokopelli is a humpbacked flute player whose Indian heritage dates back as early as 200 A.D. This legendary, well-travelled, and footloose figure was a god to some, a nuisance to others, and a bearer of good luck and health to many. Well known for his gift of fertility, childless wives begged for his company while unmarried women fled from him in fear."
