Well,
I beg to differ. While it is certainly no dog, it doesn't have the natural grandeur
of the Ocoee River Whitewater Canoeing & Kayaking venue, or even the cross
country course at the Georgia International Horse Park.

I was aghast at the distance these athletes had to row.....at the starting line, they were mere dots in the distance. But the only spectator seating consisted of one big bleacher boat, pontooned grandstands anchored at the end of the course. |

Perhaps my luck at other venues has spoiled me, but at this one, even though I walked right up to the finish line, I felt removed from the action. This slightly distant one-angle perspective resulted is some very similar photos, and odd cropping.
Having said all that, I must be one cranky ol' photographer, because everyone else there seemed to love it! This venue did have, in my opinion, the largest number of die-hard dedicated fan-atics. These people were into it, and having the time of their life, so who am I to say they're wrong?
